Yup, we've got yet another new HM game's soundtrack for you guys to enjoy! If you've had a chance to play the new Harvest Moon: Animal Parade for the Wii, you know how big of a game it is. Animal Parade was labeled as one of the best Wii games of 2009 by a lot of gaming websites, and for good reason. The amount of features and depth of gameplay was amazing not only for a Harvest Moon game, but for a game in general. And of course, one of the keys to being such a successful game is having great music! We've actually included quite a few of these songs in the new Animal Parade album on the jukebox. Thanks to HarvestMoonLuver from the forums, we were able to figure out the names of most of the songs (thanks HMLuver!), but we haven't been able to name them all. If you go and listen to the album, you'll see that towards the end of the list, there are a bunch of songs labeled "BGM#". This is because we're not exactly sure where the song appears in the game. But if you guys could help us out in naming these songs that would be great! So feel free to leave a comment or email us (hmocontent@gmail.com) with any song-naming help. :) -Jukebox page- -Discussion- Subscribe to us on Youtube! Follow us on Twitter! New Xbox360 game! Harvest Moon: Harmony Hill!
![]() Big news Xbox360 fans - Harvest Moon is headed your way! Marvelous Entertainment announced last night that the Xbox360 will get it's first taste of the famous farming franchise with Harvest Moon: Harmony Hill (牧場物語: 平和丘) The game seems to take place in a typical Harvest Moon type of village, but with a twist - It's on a giant hill!! The sloped terrain should make for an interesting farming experience. And we can only imagine how exhausting it will be running up and down the hill to visit the townspeople. Right now the game has an expected international release date of October 2010. You can expect to see this game at E3 in June, but until then we'll be sure to keep you all posted as we learn more! :) APRIL FOOLS :D Subscribe to us on Youtube! Follow us on Twitter! Wada, the creator of Harvest Moon, stepping down
![]() If you've enjoyed a Harvest Moon title over the last 15 years or so, you have Yasuhiro Wada to thank. Wada is the founder of the Harvest Moon franchise, and has been a key employee with Marvelous Entertainment. But Wada has just announced that on March 31 he will resign from his position as Director of Digital Content at Marvelous. The only reason Marvelous has released for why he's stepped down is "for personal reasons". But it may have to do with Marvelous not doing as well financially as they had hoped, considering all of the games they have released over the past couple years. Whatever the reason, Wada will not be completely leaving Marvelous. Starting April 1st he will be serving as an "advisor" for the company. Should be interesting to see the direction Marvelous takes the Harvest Moon franchise from here! -Discussion on the forum- Subscribe to us on Youtube! Follow us on Twitter! [Jukebox Update #8] - Island of Happiness & Sunshine Islands
Yup, we've got another double feature for you guys this week!A couple of recent Nintendo DS games have been added to the jukebox this week with Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness and Sunshine Islands! IoH was released in America back in 2008. Then last year, Sunshine Islands came out and was basically looking to improve upon a lot of the features from IoH. Since the the games were so similar, most of the songs were kept the same from IoH to Sunshine Islands. So as far as the jukebox goes, the songs that are the same did not get transferred to the Sunshine Islands album. So it might not have as many songs as the IoH album. :( Anyway, we love listening to the music from these two games (I especially like the songs from IoH), and we hope you enjoy them just as much. See you next week. :) -Jukebox page- -Discussion- Subscribe to us on Youtube! Follow us on Twitter! Posted on 21 Mar 2010 10:58 AM by Chuck
