RF Reviews
Now that Rune Factory is out in Europe, reviews for the game are coming out all over again. Most of you have already played Rune Factory---and even if you haven't, you've already heard about the numerous reviews it's had in the past lamenting about how great a game it is, and how well it implements both the farming and RPG aspect so well.

Expect pretty much the same thing here, but read if you're interested:

Pretty sure this is the female player, and the male player.

See screenshots here.

Harvest Moon comes to Wiiware! + RFF Interviews
Wii? Check. PSP? Check. DS? Double check. So which system are the Harvest Moon teams targetting next? ...Why not Wiiware!

Marvelous/Famitsu has announced that "Bokujou Monogatari: Makiba no Omise" will be the first HM game to find its way into Wii's growing selection of Wiiware games. "Makiba no Omise" actually translates roughly into "Ranch Store". So as you might guess, the game will center mostly around running your very own shop! It looks like you'll be able to pick what kind of business you'd like to run (ice cream, fruits & veggies, or even easter eggs), decorate your store, and send picutres of it to your friends. Most of the tasks in the game though will be in the form of mini-games. And don't be surprised if you see your favorite HM characters dropping by to shop around.

The game is set to release in Japan April 28th. Players will be able to purchase the game through the Wii Shop channel for 1500 points. Hopefully everyone else around the world can get in on this new HM action as soon as possible. Until then, like always, we'll keep you guys updated as we hear more about the game! -Link to the official Japanese site here-"

In RF news, Rune Factory Frontier's producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto has been interviewed recently with both IGN and N-Sider. No real ground-breaking announcements, but they're both pretty interesting reads. Check them out here (IGN) and here (NSider)!

Sugar Village Update!
First, two new characters in Sugar Village. :O

Basil. He's a port from Save the Homeland too; he was Parsley. You can see a picture of him here. We'll have his translation up for you as soon as we can, but he's probably the same as in Save the Homeland---romantic, laidback traveler type.

Chester. Chester's a new character! Don't have his description yet, but he dresses like a wizard! He's the one you see to the right.

Video Clips. They added a video clip! If you scroll all the down to the bottom, you can see the hero mining.

Harvest Festival. They added a small update about the Harvest Festival. You can dance with the girl you like in it, as shown in the screenshot to the ...

RFF English Site Up; ANOTHER Harvest Moon?
Hey guys.

RFF North American Site. Look how nice XSEED is. :] They made an English site just for Rune Factory Frontier. We'll still be updating you on content they put up there, but feel free to go check it out yourself!

Another HM?! Neogaf reports that in the March 2009 issue of Famitsu, there's apparently an upcoming (tentative) title for the Wii called Harvest Moon ... Farm Store. Yep. HM Farm Store.

Creator of HM is apparently a hypocrite.
lawls. I actually like the guy, from what little I know about him, but this just doesn't make sense.

Yasuhiro Wada, the "father" of Harvest Moon, recently told Eurogamer that he thought too many sequels are dangerous for the gaming industry.

"What is the point of having creative developers if they are just making existing games better and not thinking of new ideas?" he said.

Here's the problem: doesn't Harvest Moon have nothing short of TONS of spin-offs and sequels?! I'm not sure what he was thinking.

SV Characters, Fishing, Comic, Wallpaper
Heyy. They added an actual new bachelorette today!

Aurelia. Yep. That's her name. She's the first bachelorette in Sugar Village that hasn't been ported from a previous game. We don't have her description translated yet, but click the link (and scroll down) to see her demo vid.

Other Characters. They also added two other characters. Their names are Wall (maybe Wally in English?) and Rudolph. They're also original characters, if I'm not mistaken. We'll have their descriptions translated as soon as we can.

Fishing! If you scroll down ...
