A while ago XSEED Games and Marvelous Entertainment Inc. talked about how they're partnering up with each other. They will be called Marvelous Entertainment USA.

Marvelous Entertainment Managing Director Yasuhiro Wada stated, "We're pleased to be able to announce our new expansion into the largest gaming market in the world, the United States. I'm confident that together with our co-publishing agreement with XSEED Games, we will be able to hit the ground running as we ramp up our US operations." He was joined in comment by XSEED Games President Jun Iwasaki, "We're honored to get the chance to partner with Marvelous Entertainment as they establish and grow their presence in the US market. They have an exceptional library of original and creative games many of which should prove a hit with Western gamers."

When one of our members on here asked Natsume Inc. if they're going to continue to publish Harvest Moon games now that there's Marvelous Entertainment USA, they said "XSEED has been owned by Marvelous for some time now, and Digital Index was not purchased or merged. Very little changed beyond a name and who runs a couple MMORPGs." - so there's that.



In other news, HM: GBC is now out for Virtual Console! Woohoo! What are you guys waiting for? Go get it. Go, go, go!

So yeah, if you didn't know, Rune Factory 4 is being serialized in the Nintendo Dream Magazine right now. We managed to find some pictures of the manga through this lovely person's tumblr.

So yes, according to Natsume's latest announcement, Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns will be made available on the eShop. It is said to be up on Thursday, April 18th for North & South America... which is only a few hours away!

Do you think Natsume fixed the 3ds versions freezing problems? Maybe added more features? Who knows! Regardless it's a great opportunity for anyone who missed out on this game.

So we came across two great videos on Harvest Moon recently and we decided to give a shout out to them as a form of appreciation.



This first video is a really funny review of Harvest Moon: Animal Parade by PeanutButterGamer. He not only talks about Animal Parade but Harvest Moon as a series. The video is about fifteen minutes long but PBG keeps you engaged the entire time. I enjoyed it a lot. Do check out his channel for more fun and interesting videos!



Our second video is what seems to be a cinematic trailer for Harvest Moon 64/BtN.. and it's actually pretty cool. I personally like how all the girls are just one girl. It's by Gritty Reboots and this is their first video! A good watch so check them out for sure.

"Project Happiness," the enchantingly adorable shopkeeper simulation by Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada, now has an official title: Hometown Story. The "story" in the title is meant to show the game's emphasis on meeting and learning about new townspeople by growing your shop, over simply conducting business for its own sake.

This looks really adorable and has the same feel as the previous Harvest Moon games. The shop that you start with reminds me of the supermarket from Harvest Moon: Back to Nature and Friends of Mineral Town! How similar will this game be to the previous ones? Only time will tell.
