Events from year 3 and beyond

After finishing the main story (end of year 2), you'll be given the option to either proceed with the game into year 3 onward, or to start a new game. If you start a new game, you'll be able to keep some items (money, house extensions, animals, recipes, fish prints, cleared events).

Zann Appears in Town

The mysterious merchant Zann will appear in your town on Spring 7th of year 3. He'll set up shop in the plaza at the abandoned shop. You can bring scrap metal + jewels to him and he'll make jewelry for you!

Letters from Your Father

After you've saved the town, your father will begin sending you a series of letters in the mail. He basically challenges you to earn 100,000G by the end of year 4 in order to prove that you're a great farmer.

This at least gives you a tangible goal to reach by the end of year 4.

Joe and Katie When: Year 3, Spring 4th-8th Where: Lake Requirements: Your friendship level with Katie is less than 80 FP

Louis and Lyla When: Year 3, Spring 10th-14th Where: Lake Requirements: Your friendship level with Lyla is less than 80 FP

Bob and Gwen When: Year 3, Spring 17th-21st Where: Lake Requirements: Your friendship level with Gwen is less than 80 FP

Kurt and Dia When: Year 3, Spring 17th-21st Where: Clove Villa Requirements: Your friendship level with Dia is less than 80 FP

Marriage

On Spring 17th of year 3, if you have not seen the Marriage Recommendation event with Chester, you'll see a special event. This event will let you know that you can buy a blue feather at Louis' Shop, which can be used to propose to one of the girls. Good luck on proposing!
