Default MDV Profile Outline (NEW!)

MDV Profile Outline!!!

  • All profiles should be PMed to Sgt. Frog and Danigurl.
  • Title your PMs with your username.
  • Please make sure your profiles are original. We do not accept Naruto, Vegeta, Jonny Depp, or any other characters you did not make up on your own.
  • AND PLEASE. Save a copy of your profile. For some reason we found out that many people don’t keep copies of their profile, and when the site had to transfer servers recently, many people lost their profiles.

Character Profile Outline
Moondrop Valley RPG

Username : Like when you post, your post has your name on the left side. You had to register with this name. Mine would be elli_the_baker. Do I have to spell this out more? Yes.

Character's Name : The full name of your character. You can provide an explanation, like what it means or how they received this name. Any nicknames should probably go in here too and if you would like maybe a description of who gave it to them and why.

Gender : Male or female? Do they identify as their biological sex? Intersex?

Age : How old are they? How many years have they been alive? If age is unknown, guesstimate and please say so.

Birthdate : The birthday of your character. NOTE!: MoonDrop goes on a season-to-season basis. If your character’s birthday is December 7th, then say WINTER 7th.

Appearance : Please be as descriptive as you can in this area. List skin color, weight and height. The color and length of their hair, the color of their eyes. Do they have freckles? Put any descriptive information here. Maybe the shape of their eyes, their muscles, their earrings. Do they have lady fingers? (not the food!). Funny birthmark? Scar? Massive pecks? Maybe they just have a very friendly face or maybe they look guilty all the time. Your character does not need a picture to go along with their description. Some people, however, like to add a picture. Whatever floats your boat. Be sure to include anything positive traits that stand out and for every positive trait a negative. And try to have more than just a disfiguring scar for every positive trait. Be creative with them. You don’t have to be crippled but maybe they have poor night vision or can’t see things far away.

- - - - - - -

Family : This section should contain any and all immediate family members your character has. If you wish you may put in really close friends that are almost like family to you characters or say for example an ex-fiancé who mutually broke off the engagement so that they could go to school, or bring medicine to baby orphans in Africa. If your family is coming with you to the Valley you may want to include a brief summary of each member coming with you. You’ll probably want to include the status of each character, for example whether or not they are alive.

History : What made your character who they are today? Did they move around a lot? Have a traumatic incident occur? Did they enjoy their past life and why did they come to MoonDrop? Maybe they were very smart at school, and maybe they were home schooled. Put if they engaged in sports, music, drugs, or have a record with the cops. Past loves or crushes can go here, as well as their past feelings for family and friends.

Careers : Careers that your character may have had in the past or currently have (For those of us owning businesses inside the RPG).

- - - - - - -

Goals : Has your character lived their entire life with a certain dream that they plan to accomplish before they die? Any goals of your character belong here. Goals can range from long-term career plans, etc... to short term goals, such as losing 20 pounds.

- - - - - - -

Hobbies : What are the things your character loves to do? Maybe your character is a closet chef, or a well-known seamstress. Does your character have a tendency to sing in their free time? List the things your character enjoys doing here.

Likes : Place what your character likes or loves here. They could enjoy fruit, walks on the beach, those little mint leaves on desserts or the scent of laundry. Maybe they like chocolate, but LOVE milk chocolate over dark or white? Specify if your character LOVES something over liking it. They can like anything, whether it be sounds, smells, emotions, objects or even types of art.

Dislikes : Anything your character just hates or is slightly annoyed by. Maybe they don’t like rain, or the scent of cheddar. On a more intense level, say if they hate something. Examples could be a type of animal, when someone can’t read body language or a type of food. Anything that can be disliked.

Skills : What are your character's strengths? Maybe they are a top swimmer, can remember names very well, or can give the best massages. Or, they might just be a great listener.

Inabilities : You character may have a problem looking at others eyes, or they may kill every plant they touch. Cooking could result in extreme disaster and rapid fires when attempted by them, or maybe they cannot swim, or express their emotions well enough. Another possibility could be having a hard time telling people no, and easily caving into peer pressure. Note: List ONE weakness for EVERY skill. NO EXCEPTIONS. EVERY character has a weakness.

Personality : This should be one of the longer sections that you fill out. Every bit of information that your character has out in the open, or maybe doesn't realize that they have, should be presented here. Your character may feel very social but actually fears being alone. They could love to curl up in front of the TV and watch MoonDrops’ famous soap operas, or maybe they find themselves hungry all the time. Perhaps a bit childish at times? Any virtues should also be listed here. Are they polite, have the patience of a saint or perhaps they are always giving to others? Try to have your character’s virtues balanced by a vice. So for every good quality they have they have a bad one. Fears are necessary to have too. Try to put at least one even if it is just a fear of long words. Just remember if you are putting in a fear of something ordinary ((So in our minds something silly) to be afraid of that is) then you may have to encounter it often. Everything you wish to be known about your character belongs here.

- - - - - - -

Currently : As of the time you have begun RPing ONLY. Do not fill this out until you have had events happen to you in the RPG. Where is your character living? Working? Hanging out? What's happening to them that is important?

Belongings : Anything your character carried with them to MoonDrop. You don’t have to list everything, like tables and chair, but more of the important items. A family heirloom?

Money : How much G is on your character at the moment?

Heart Rate :

Black - Your character doesn't like this character. One could call this level loathing.

White - Your character is indifferent to this person. They have just met, and probably have not spoken much.

Purple - This is the default heart rate. Your character has met this person, maybe said a few sentences, and will probably recognize them again the next time they meet.

Blue - You have had a few conversations, or maybe a single heart-to-heart, and your character now has a new friend!

Green - This person has become very close to your character, and is probably around them quite a bit. You may not call this "best friends" yet, but you can bet it's close. Your character may develop some... more romantic feelings at this point, if there weren't an obvious attraction already.

Yellow - The person who made it to a yellow heart rate is obviously very close and very important to your character. Romantic feelings may (or may not) have become apparent yet, and things might start moving a little faster.

Orange - Your character has already realized his/her romantic feelings for the person, and these feelings are probably requited and fulfilling. Family and the closest of friends should also fall under this category.

Pink - Your character has found love. This is the short, step-before-marriage area for those lucky characters who reach this far inside of your character's heart.

Red - Your character has found that there is no doubt about it, they are in love, and probably married or soon to be married, to the love of their life. Their spouse should fall into this category, though some people opt to never become married, and as such, "life partners" would also fall into this category.
