Ok, so i'm hoping since this is a harvest moon forum i'll be able to get this question answered. I swear ever since A Wonderful Life came out the Harvest Moon franchise has strayed away from what makes it so good.
Anyway, I'm playing Harvest Moon 64 again just for fun cause I love that game. I befriended Basil and Lilia, and I'm POSITIVE I did because I gave each of them more items than I really needed to give them. I could tell by the way they talked to me that they were my friend. On the second Spring Basil came back and didn't give me a Power Nut!!!
Basically I'm wondering if I can get it at the beginning of the third year? I don't see why not, and a lot of the walkthrough bounce back and forth on what is correct and what's not. For instance people say you can't get the power nut from the shady salesman again if you didn't purchase it at the first flower festival....and then other's said he'll return until you buy it.
Please tell me what went wrong with Basil and why he didn't give it to me, and also if I can get it on the third Spring?! Thanks
I'm fairly certain you can't get a power berry from Basil. The only spring related power berry I can remember is something to do with planting flowers in Spring?
Edit: Yeah, according to our site he doesn't give you one, at least not in HM64. For more info on the Power Berries try looking at thislink.
Ok that makes sense. I guess the blue power nut is actually the tenth. Thanks. I can get the marble in summer I hope......The pink flowers arn't available until the 23rd, and they take 8 days to grow so hopefully i can get the marble in summer....otherwise i'll just have to buy a bunch of pink mint and wait for the third year :/
Basil does give you a power nut when he returns and he can give it to you any year, you just need to be really good friends with him (>200 affection ~ 65 conversations or normal gifts). The power nut guide is here
