My idea for the four goddesses. Soooo are we definitely going with that story idea? Anyway left to right, wind, fire, water, and earth. For color themes left to right, purple, redish-orange, blue, and green. Personality idea from left to right, childish, grumpy/arrogant, not sure maybe affectionate , mature/older sister like.
Woah! I don't know how I missed this. These are absolutely awesome sketches! Do you think we should make the water one a mermaid and give wings to the wind. I think their personalities should be the opposite of the stereotype, i.e Earth Goddess should be the angry type or childish type.

They are adorable designs the lot of them.
As a male. I feel that at least one of them should be more endowed however.
Water's design is most befitting for larger breasts, either her or fire. I'm not saying ridiculously endowed just more so, its just my two bits there.
@yuri: I love the idea of a mermaid tail on the water element, treat her like many other magical types and when she exits the water she gets legs. so that long dress would basically 'become' her tail.
On personalities, I was most assuredly seeing Earth as the childish one.
wind as the flighty romantic type.
Fire as the demanding and straightforward type
and water as the calm and loving type

So the image is a little large... However this is my character design I mentioned awhile back.
This image is WIP and I haven't finished the coloring project. this is just base tones mostly.
Sorry guys that I've been absent. Real life has gotten in the way and it took me awhile to get back into the swing of things. Most of the stuff was good so no worries if anyone was. One of my brothers graduated from college and the other from high school. What first pulled me away a lot was school work and finals (As Bs and the Deans list babies! WOOT!). After that I had to move back home and try to find a summer job, applied to about 20 places and still no luck (Well just more time to spend with you). And what hit me most was my great grandma's death. Still gets me but I think I'm handling it well. Everybody saw it was coming and everybody had their last words with her. It was just her time and all.
So yeah, hope that Mage's game thread has had more activity than this but no matter who is still around I hope to still work on this. This was a project I really had my heart set on, it's just it couldn't come before my responsibilities in life. Sorry again.
