Karen and Elli seem to be...incredibly popular. I don't really see it. Karen is a drunk (even though her rough and toughness is slightly endearing) and Elli looks like a marshmallow blueberry icecream waffle pancake FLUFFY cake with hair. Not saying I don't love them, though. The Flowerbud/Mineral Town gals are my favorites in the series, and I'm highly attached to them all. But Karen and Elli were my least favorites. Ann wasn't my favorite, either...strange, I always liked gingers. Maybe it's because she's so cute with Cliff, I felt weird taking her away. They fight constantly, but....*swoon*

Unless you're not even paying attention, you can tell Maria and Popuri are my favorites. Popuri is my favorite character out of ALL the HM games. Ever. I think it's the hair. FoMT was one of my first games and I immediately married Popuri.....must be way she's my waifu. c: But Maria is so shy and sweet, I just adore her.

I was originally going to marry Anne or Maria, but during gameplay I fell in love with Popuri. She was so cute, and I thought she'd make a precious wife.

I feel bad because I can never play this game unless I shell out for a 64 and I'm just not going to. I WISH they had ported this to the Wii, but sadly Natsume declared because of the coding involved that it was never going to happen.

Oh well. Heres to hoping they might remake it.

Maria the first time I played. Back in 1999 Maria just reminded me of myself. I was insanely shy, still am some what, she also liked bugs, and I found myself a good student on studying bugs, so I wasn't very afraid of bugs. I also love libraries and such, so... lol

Over all in the end I find myself when I replay the game marrying Elli most often. Mainly because I swear to this day that Elli is meant to be Jacks soul mate. They dress in the same colors, have the same hair color basically and dance almost exactly the same during festivals. Either that or Elli is your cousin and Ellen is your grandmother, so you're related hence you're so similar.

I married her counterpart in the SNES version, so I liked the continuity (plus I adore that shy adorable face) and Elli seems so loving and sweet.
