[FoMT] FoMT GBA connect UK?

Hello sorry if this is in the wrong place, I've tried every other site. :(

I have USA version of Harvest Moon DS cute for my DS (I live in UK, and ordered this version)
And would love to marry Trent from Mineral town I heard you do this by connecting your Ds with your GBA FoMT or MFoMT.
I don't have the FoMT GBA and there are a few on ebay but I don't know if they are UK version or USA version, will it make a difference? if i buy a UK version of the FoMT GBA game will i still get the mineral town boys or will it not work on because it's UK?

Just checked, I don't think it matters whether it's the US version or the one from UK. So you're good to go!
