When TV shows/movies get real world facts wrong, does it spoil your impression of the show or ruin your movie experience?
For example like 10,000 BC they like got some of the creatures in the wrong timeline. Terror Birds died out by the time man appeared. And also Sabre Tooth Cats shouldn't have the same coloring or hue as a Tiger.
Another famous example is like say Jurassic Park movies where some of the dinosaurs have biological issues. Like say pteranodon has such large teeth, by right it should be having a stiff neck or a broken neck becos the teeth are so large and heavy. Even my cousin was able to point this out.
We were watching Rambo last weekend (the second one, where he went to Vietnam and saved some POW's) anyway, at the end of the movie, there's a huge air battle between two helicopters.
Rambo's chopper is pretty beat up and they think they're going down. The Russian guy comes in for the kill, and sees Rambo apparently unconscious in the chopper. So he comes in close and Rambo jumps up, throws a RPG (rocket propelled genade) to his shoulder and hits the Russian, blowing up the bad guys, so the good guys can make their escape.
An RPG (if you don't know) is almost like a hand held cannon. It's a tube that is open on both ends, because as the grenade goes out the front, there is exhaust in the form of flames coming out the back (think about a rocket or the Space Shuttle being launched) Hubby is watching and says--I sure hope that noone is in the cargo hold behind him, (which is where the pow's were) because they just got blown up.
Yes, it's really irritating.
