Okay, so here are some pics of the Children in EAM. They style depends on which gender you choose to have first, but I think the child will always take after the spouse.
Older Sister:

In EAM, you can have 1 boy and 1 girl, or 2 of each gender. Remember though, you can only have 2 CHILDREN!!!:amuse:

[EDIT]: This list was compiled using Jin's children as examples. When you marry someone, your children will always have their hair colour and eye colour.

I don't know how to read in japanese i just know very little of how to speak japanese but i'd hate having to play a game and not knowing what in the world was going on because of it being in another language.
Well, I did have a friend with me teaching me how to read it, so.... =^)

EAM is a game for the Wii console produced by Marvelous and published by Natsume.
It is the 2nd game for the Wii in the Harvest Moon series. It came out last year in Japan on October 30th, 2008, and is meant to come out in America in Summer or Fall of 2009.
It is a major improvement from TOT (Tree of Tranquility), and is called Exciting Animal March in America.

its like when I had to make the first Rainbow in ToT in order to get him to move in. Approximately how long does it take for him to move in once you've chimed the first bell?
As soon as you chime the Red Bell, he should be there within a week or two. Not very long at all. ^_^

Hmm...well as long as it isn't pushed like TOT I'll be fine.
I'm sure it will be. Natsume had been pushing the release dates back for every Harvest Moon game since A Wonderful Life came out. All of the games that they have come out with for the Gamecube, DS, and Wii have all had their release dates pushed back, so it is to be expected for every new Harvest Moon game that comes to America.:blink:
That includes Animal Parade, Bazaar Town, Sunshine Islands, and any other HM game.:confuse:
Sadly, Natsume can no longer be relied on for correct and accurate release date information and release dates that stick. Just take Island of Happiness and Tree of Tranquility. We had to wait for them until September of last year. We have a release date for Animal Parade and Sunshine Islands, which is late August (SI) and September (AP), but it is VERY likely that the release dates could be pushed back until the Holiday season, or even later, possibly until the beginning of next year.

This is just a guess, considering how Tree of Tranquility was meant to come out in the Winter of '07, and was held until the Fall of '08. The same with IOH.:crying:
I hate to be so pessimistic about this, and I'm sure that Natsume realizes how pissed everyone gets when this happens, but the truth of the matter is that this observation is most likely accurate, as much as people hate to believe, but will hopefully be inaccurate, because we (all of us in America) have waited long enough for AP and SI and feel that our wait should be, and is almost over.:notrust:
So, all I have left to say is: Between NOW and September, we shall watch the release date as it goes on in the future. If Natsume actually keeps the August September release dates (which we're all hoping), then we shall all be very happy playing AP and SI for the Wii and DS.:amuse:

Oh yeah I was soo pissed about that. It gave me enough time to memorize the name Chihaya for months!!
When XSEED did it, it came out 3 months after Japan got it!! That's amazing!! And they kept the opening in Japenese!! DO IT AGAIN!!! :bored: :bored:

I'm guessing the basic appearance of the children is the same, and their hair and eye color change depending on who the spouse is?
Yes, that's correct.
For example, say you marry Gill and have two children. The children will have light, almost platinum blonde hair and they will have blue eyes.
If you marry Luna, all of your children's hair colors will be Salmon Pink. Their eyes will be the same color that Luna's is (can't remember what it is ^^") Wow, that's majorly a downside! XD
The same with any of the other spouses. Like me, I married everyone (it took a long time!!!!!) but on my main boy and girl data, I married Gale and Vivi and the children for Vivi had silver hair (it was really cooli! It looked like Toshiro Hitsugaya's from Bleach) and for Gale, the children had a trace of brown in it. Vivi's kids had red eyes, which was awesome, and Gale's had a moss green color! XD:amuse:

Thanks for posting that. Jin and I will definitely have an older daughter and younger son. I hate short hair on girls because I was forced to have short hair as a child.

Yes!! Jin's kid will look adorable I bet XD The boy should have a little ponytail XD!!!
But I wish they had brown eyes and their other parents qualities to not make it look like a clone :/
