Tell me what you all think. Would I make a good content writer for Harvest Moon games here? I'm kind, friendly, and can give excellent advice to you for Harvest Moon games especially the Harvest Moon games for Gamecube and Wii. Post replyies soon!
Thanks,
Lexi::o:

If I were in any way in charge of anything around here... I would consider it. XD

I wouldn't really know since I never wrote content for a site. XD;

But yeah, an opinion as a reader -- I would like the content to be easy on the eyes. Like, I can read it easily and understand, you know? I just don't want some brainy person babbling on and on, sounding like an encyclopedia. So yeah, just make sure you sound sincere and nice while you're writing content about something and I think that's the key to being a good content writer. o__o

I asked Xief last night if you (Lexi) would be a good content writer. Xief told me she was really impressed with your work and was already considering it :)

It's possible to vote for all the options. Stingray did :/

Yuri's advice is a good one, just try to feel comfortable with what you write.

Well, you seem to certainly like Harvest Moon, and writing about it. :] That's pretty important, I think, because you'll be more reliable on updating. I'm not really an expert, but I think a friendly and articulate voice as a writer is important. And I'd definitely like a gamer who pays attention to detail, you know, someone who has seen all the easter eggs, all the secret events and glitches.

It's early days though. ;o I think you're already helping out with your posts in the Harvest Moon section. Just keep posting in those sections and answering questions. :]

In my opinion, I think anyone can be a good content writer. :D
You just have to know what you are doing.
And be experienced? ^ ^;

Well, you don't have to be experienced to be something. I mean, you do have to start somewhere, right? o.o;

They usually need more than one anyways, so I would think the more the merrier ^^ I think the old HMO split the duties anyways, so one person would do such and such a section, and so on... yada yada =____=

.......aaaaaaand it would make the staff's life much easier since they could focus more on other stuff =P

Yeah, news updater was an easy job.

I did it for 3 awesome Pokemon sites. D;

Pokenightmare, PokeZam, Pokedreams.

News updating's the easy IMO.

Those sites are still around today. D;

I'd consider news updating, since.

1). I've been here for over 3 months
2) I have the expierence

Also, when you news update, don't copy/paste from another website, unless you credit them.

Example:

"A little late getting this up on the main site, but in case you guys hadn't heard Rune Factory 2 is heading to North america this fall! No specific date has been announced, and with Natsume anything's possible, but I would expect to see it sometime before the end of the year. The game will be making its first public appearance at E3 in just a couple weeks so look out for that. Official press release can be seen heeeere.
Also, fellow HM-fansite Ranchstory is holding a sweepstakes all this month in anticipation of the release of Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness later this August! Two lucky grand prize winners will receive a copy of the DS game. It's free to enter and you can do so daily, so make sure you don't miss the chance to win a free Harvest Moon game!"

Credit goes to: http://www.hmotaku.net/

End Example

But just copy and paste the good parts. xD

I'm glad that most of you think that I'd make a good content writer and I agree with everything you say!::): I would always keep my answers as smple as possible for those who don't like to spend all thir time reading answers.

It's good that I'm friends with an admin on here, but she hasn't been on in a while, and I miss her.

I hope to do a good job as content writer as soon as/if I get the job::):

Thanks for all your help guys, you're all my bff's for life!!!!

Note: Need to be active.

BTW, don't do like other places, and talk about yourself while explaining something, like, saying that you did so others can do too, that's freaking annoying.

It looks like that you have a high self-esteem? Yeah, it seemed up there.

OMG! You missed a dot! XD Jk jk. No drama.

I don't really know you so I can't really say. All it really takes is the will to sit down and do it.

I'm one, although I havnt really written anything. By the sounds of it we're waiting for the site to be updated to a new system (I hate the current one, it seems like it would be hard to make anything look good using it) I am however doing another non-writing job for Xief for the forum, which I should really get back to work on <_<

I am active when I can be, like the only way I can get to a computer is everyday at school for an hour, and at the library in town except on Wednesday, because my Mom said that I shouldn't go to the library on the same day that I go to church. I can slympathize with that. I would love to content writer and congrats Tithis!::): I hope we're on the same team soon! I look forward to seeing you around. I have the will and want to be one, so, I'm sure I'll be fine and happy as a clam!!::):
