Would You Divorce If...?

Would you divorce if your spouse was a police(wo)man? Would you? Tell why or why not you would. Or, if you don't divorce and have another plan, please, do tell.

For example: If I want to do something illegal, I'd divorce. Or I'd take her to a faraway place on a boat, a kill her. Just kidding, but you get the point, right?

If I loved them I probably wouldn't care if they were a police man/woman. And I mean I married them KNOWING that was their job. And its not like I plan on doing something illegal, and if I did I just might not tell them about it ;). Besides, maybe they could get me out having to pay for speeding tickets or something XD

Honestly though I guess I'd prefer if my spouse wasn't a policeman because that can sometimes be a dangerous job and I wouldn't want my hubby to get hurt. But this could apply to many other jobs besides just that of a cop. However I wouldn't divorce someone or not marry them simply because of their occupation, unless they were like an axe murderer or something.

Well, it would depend. If I was a guy, I'd think not, because she would probably take control and wear the pants of the family, leaving me a wimp, coward, etc.

BUT since I'm a girl, I'd actually find it kind of sexy to have a policeman as a husband.

I don't even see the problem. Other than the potential danger on her/his life. But that shouldn't make you want to divorce them over it.
