Endings

In this game there are 9 different endings. Your goal is to complete each of them. In each ending, something comes up that will show that the land holds something of value or rarity, so the government will not allow the theme park to be built. Below is a full guide to achieving each ending.

Azure Swallowtail

Involved: Kurt, Lyla, Parsley, Louis

To begin this ending you must become good friends with Kurt. To do this give him at least one tomato per day for a few days. Eventually, when walking in Walnut Forest (Carpenter's Area) you will encounter a cinema with Kurt. He will mention that he hasn't seen any of the Azure Swallowtail Butterfly in a long time. He figures that if somehow they came back to the homeland, that it would be saved from the theme park construction company. Woody comes in and then mentions that the Azure Swallowtail likes the Blue Mist Flower. Now it is time to investigate.

Go check out the Goddess Pond and throw something in. She will tell you that you must find someone who is knowledgeable of flowers. There are two people, one is Lyla, the other is Parsley. Head on over to the Flower Shop to visit Lyla. Something that wouldn't hurt is to bring her Pink Cat Mint Flowers to help strengthen your friendship with her. She will explain to you that the Blue Mist Flower is a very delicate and rare flower. It is only found high in the mountains where elements can not damage the flower, and where weather changes aren't so severe. She stops there because she doesn't know any more details about it. Now go and find Parsley.

Try checking out the areas wherever flowers are found and you should find Parsley. To aid in this event, try giving Parsley a couple Walnuts to strengthen your relationship with him. As you can see relationships in this game is a big part. After Parsley listens to what you have to say, he tells you that he will go off and research more on the Blue Mist Flower and report back to you his findings. For the next few days keep on giving more gifts to Lyla and Parsley. Stop by the Tool Shop every so often as well, and eventually you should see a cinema of Louis showing Lyla a camera that he is working on to take a picture of the Azure Swallowtail when and if it arrives.

After about a week of doing all of this, Lyla and Parsley will stop by your farm in the morning. Parsley will tell you what his research has found on flower. He ends up giving you a bag of Blue Mist Flower seeds. He tells you how you must care for these seeds. Now you might want to go on a hike up to the Goddess Lake area to plant the seeds. There is a specific spot where to plant them. Look across the river and there should be a one by one plot of dirt there. Use your hoe to till the square and then plant the seed. It will ask for confirmation when planting the seed, just simply hit yes. Now you have planted them, it is time to water them. (Note: the Flower should be planted early to the mid of Summer, otherwise Fall will kill it). Make sure to come back every day and water the flower until it blooms. It will take about 9 days, but once those 9 days have passed, the flower should fully bloom.

Once this day occurs, a cinema will occur at the Goddess Lake. Parsley will walk up while the Hero is viewing the flower. He will tell you that he didn't believe that this was true but he is glad that it worked. He has decided to leave the area to go on and do bigger and better things after accomplishing this task. Now it is time to wait for the Azure Swallowtail to come along. If you go up to the Goddess Lake area around night time (after 7:00 pm) you should see the Goddess and the Harvest Sprites admiring the flower. The Goddess will note that all everyone must do now is wait.

Make sure to keep on visiting the flower daily. After 3 to 4 days of the flower blooming, a cinema should occur. You will approach the area and an Azure Swallowtail will appear hovering over the Blue Mist Flower. Lyla and Louis will eventually stop by to admire with you. At this time Louis will set up his camera and take a picture of the butterfly while Lyla poses by the flower. Louis then states that he will send in the picture and let you know how they react to it. You then must wait some time again, and no matter what you do the flower will eventually die. After it dies, don't worry nothing bad has happened.

After about seven days of waiting, head on up to the Goddess Lake area in the evening. A cinema will come up seeing Lyla busy at picking up the seeds left behind from the flower. She says that she can sell these to grow other Blue Mist Flowers. After this Louis will come running up to the two of you. He says that due to the picture of the rare butterfly being published, that the homeland will be saved from the evil developers. The homeland is to now become a wildlife preserve. After the credits a small scene with Louis and Lyla talking occurs. Then Lyla will leave and you will last see Louis chasing after her…

Bluebird

Involved: Louis

In this ending you must befriend Louis. To do this just give him at least one egg a day for about a week. You know you have become good friends with him when he starts to talk to you about more things. After you become good friends, head on over to Maple Lake after 6:00 pm. A cinema will occur where you will find Louis playing his flute. You will also see a bunch of birds flying around his head. After watching him play for a little bit, the Hero will walk over to Louis. The two of you will feed the birds together and at this time Louis will give you a flute of your own. Continue to develop your friendship with Louis giving him Eggs, and making sure to practice on the flute. You can use your flute to build your relationship with your dog, which can aid you in other events.

A little later, about a week later at that, head on down to Maple Lake again after 6:00 pm. You should see Lyla standing behind some brush listening to Louis playing his flute. After a little while of watching, the Hero and Lyla will venture down towards Louis to talk with him. Lyla asks him to play his flute but Louis gets nervous and messes up. Lyla then leaves and then Louis will start to tell you about the Bluebird. He hopes that by playing his flute he will one day see one. Then Woody steps into the cinema and explains that the Bluebirds were pretty much hunted down until they were all killed and he hasn't seen any in years. This brings an end to this cinema and everyone heads on home. Continue to develop your friendship with Louis.
After about one to two weeks, Louis will stop by your farm and ask if you have been practicing your flute. Answer with a yes of course, and then he will ask you if you'd like to go down to the lake and play some music with him. After venturing off towards the lake, a mini-game will come up. You and Louis will be standing next to each other and there will be a music note above your head. Louis will explain that you must play the notes that he is playing. When the note lights up next to the note above your head, you must play this note on your flute. The notes are color coded with the directional pad:

  • Green = Up
  • Blue = Down
  • Pink = Left
  • Red = Right

Louis will then start playing his tune and you are to join in with him. You are allowed to miss up to 6 or 7 notes out of 56 total notes available. If you fail you will be given the option of playing again (do so otherwise you risk losing this ending opportunity). Here is the code you must play below.

P, G, P, B, R, B, B, P, G, R, B, P, B, P, G, R, P, B, G, G, P, P, R, R, B, P, G, B, P, R, B, P, B, G, R, B, P, G, B, G, P, P, B, B, R, B, P, R, G, G, P, P, R, G, R, B, P

While you two are playing, a Bluebird will show up and it will drop a Blue feather on the ground. Louis will pick it up and wonder what to do. Then he runs off towards his shop. Now go and talk to the Goddess and she will tell you that she has no clue as to what is going to happen. After about 2 weeks, Louis will stop by the farm and tell you that the Blue feather he sent has saved the homeland. He explains that since the Blue feather is so rare, that they won't allow the company to develop the land. In celebration, you and Louis head out to Maple Lake and play some more tunes on your flutes.

After the credits scroll by, Louis will ask the significance of the blue feather. The Hero will explain that it is given to somebody that one loves. Lyla will then enter and she thinks the story is sweet. Louis then gives up his courage to give her the feather and the scene fades out.

Cake Contest

Involved: Katie, Dia, Wallace, Gwen

To start this ending, you must become good friends with Katie. To do this give her many Moondrop Flowers (at least one per day) and continue doing this for a week or two. One day when entering the Cafe/Bar a cinema will occur. Katie will be explaining that she wants to enter a cake baking contest. She has one problem though, and that is she is not a very good cook. However she has heard a rumor of your grandmother's recipe to make a cake that is superb. Wallace steps in and says that it was the best cake that he had ever tasted. During the cinema Gwen will stop by and comment on Katie making cakes. This is the end of that cinema. Now go and talk to all of the townsfolk about this cake recipe your grandmother made. A good place to check for the recipe is inside your own house. Check the chest of drawers on the left and you will find your Grandmother's recipe. The recipe will tell you what the key ingredients are.

After finding the recipe, head on back to the cafe/bar and another cinema will come up. You will be shown giving the recipe to Katie. She reads over it and tells you that she will need a Golden Egg, Golden Milk, and Moondrop Dew. The first two items are pretty easy to get but the third one will be tricky. Wallace agrees on the third one being tricky because he hasn't really heard of it. Now head on over to the Clove's Villa to speak with Dia. You must get Dia to like you so make sure to give her at least one Blueberry per day for a few days. One day while Dia is inside, go inside as well. A cinema will occur where Dia gets out a book to give to Katie referring to the making of Moondrop Dew. Another way of doing this is with Gina. Become good friends with Gina and while Dia is trying to find it, she eventually will give up and then Gina will find it and give it to you. Once you have the book head on back to the Cafe/Bar to enter another cinema. This time you will be handing Katie the book and Katie tells you that she will get back to you on how to make the Moondrop Dew.

After a few days have past return to the Cafe/Bar and Katie will tell you how to make the Moondrop Dew. You need to create it up at the Goddess Lake under a Full Moon. The Full Moon days are the 14th, 15th, 29th, and 30th. You also must show up after 9:00 pm. Then she says that at this time your true love will appear. Now it is time to wait for one of the days just mentioned. On the first available one, head over to the Goddess Lake around 9:00 pm. Whichever girl (or guy if you are only friends with Katie) you have your best relations with will show up. There will be some small talk between the two of you and then a glowing urn will appear. The moon will collect the moon's light and the love between you and the girl (or guy) you like most. After the scene finishes, the girl (or guY) you are with takes the urn and says she (or he) will give it to Katie. After this has happened, make sure to give Katie the Golden Egg and Golden Milk, then she will start to work on the cake.

A few days later go back to the Cafe/Bar and Katie will have a sampling prepared for you to taste. The Hero will react in disgust because the cake didn't turn out too good. Katie promises that it will turn out just fine for the contest and not to worry. A few days later head back to the Cafe/Bar and Katie will tell you that she has entered the cake and all that you have to do now is wait.

A week will past and then Katie, Lyla, and Gwen will all show up at your farm. Katie tells you that her cake has won first prize and she even got the write up. Now that the area is famous for Katie's cake, the developers cannot develop the land. The scene ends with you heading on down the road. After the credits end, a scene with Katie talking about the different places she wants to go and she hopes you will stay behind for her to come back to. After a mushy, “lovey-dovey” moment, the Hero will agree to this and then the scene fades out…

Endangered Weasel

Involved: Gwen, Nik, Nac, Flak, Louis

To kick off this ending you must become good friends with Gwen. To do this give her at least one Blueberry or Egg each day for a while. If you have a Golden Milk on hand, give that to her because those are her favorite. A few days later the three Harvest Sprites will wake you up in the morning at your farm. They exclaim that some creature is picking on them and they want you to take a look at it. The Hero and the Sprites then venture off to the Goddess Lake and hide behind in the brush. You then will see a furry white critter poking in and out of the trees. This is the creature they say is picking on them. Then Gwen comes up and yells at them to stop threatening her friend Snowball, the Weasel.

Now go and speak with the Harvest Goddess to see what can be done about this. She will suggest that you talk with the townspeople about this white creature and suggests you spread a rumor of it being rare. While doing this, continue to give gifts to Gwen. One morning she will stop by your farm and have a word with you. She says that she wants to save the homeland, but she doesn't want the weasel exploited to save the homeland. She doesn't believe that this would be fair and she states that she will have to think long and hard about this and then get back to you. For the next period of time keep on giving her more gifts. After a week has passed, she will stop by your farm again. She will tell you that Louis has made a camera and she would like to take action. She says to meet her at the Goddess Lake that evening at 7:00 pm to take the picture.

When you arrive at the Goddess Lake at 7:00 pm, Gwen will show up and hides with you and the camera. Unfortunately though, this night isn't a good night for the weasel and the picture doesn't happen. Gwen tells you that she must think about this again and get back to you. About two weeks later (after giving her more gifts) she will show up again at your farm. She will then tell you to meet her once again up at the Goddess Lake around 7:00 pm. Head on up there and after you arrive Gwen will follow with the camera. This time the weasel comes out and she gets off a couple of good pictures. After the weasel runs off, she states that she hopes these pictures turned out well.

One week later, Louis and Gwen will stop by your farm and Louis will hold up a book with the Weasel's picture in it. Coincidentally the weasel is an endangered species. Because of this the area is declared a natural preserve and the developers cannot develop on this land. Gwen still seems down on taking the picture but she at least says that now the weasel will be happy and he can live his life to the fullest. After the ending credits, Gwen and the Hero are found sitting on top of your barn. Gwen starts talking about right and wrong and how it's relative to life. She then realizes that everyone has to make some mistakes in life and all that you can do is keep on going forward. Gwen then asks the Hero to bend down, and when you do this she kisses the Hero on the cheek, then the scene fades out…

A Fishy Story

Involved: Joe, Katie, Kurt, Louis, Woody

To start off this ending you must become good friends with Joe and you should talk to him a lot when he's fishing. He keeps mentioning that you shouldn't become used to these lands because they won't be around for long. Every couple of days go back and talk to Joe. Eventually he should give you a fishing pole. The fishing pole isn't the best quality pole, but this one you will use to learn how to fish. With this pole you will catch a lot of boots and cans, and very few fish. Never give Joe a small fish because he will tell you to throw it back, but if you catch a Medium fish, make sure to give that to him. After you have caught three fish of any size, meet up with him at Maple Lake in the evening.

Joe is at the lake on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A cinema will occur where Joe will tell you about the Legendary Silver Fish. He says that he has never seen this fish before but it would be cool if someday somebody could catch it. Joe just believes that it is one of those “Fishy Stories”. Continue to go fishing on a daily basis. After you catch three more fish (maybe a few more) go to visit Joe at Maple Lake again in the evening. He will ask you how the fishing is going. It doesn't matter what you tell him, he will tell you that he will talk with Louis about making a better fishing pole for you. Joe leaves and the cinema ends.

The next day the Silver Fishing Pole will be available so head on over to the Tool Shop and buy it for 4500 Gold. Now head on over to the lake to test it out. It will be easier to catch fish of all sizes now, and you will catch less of the junier items. Now try catching at least 3 Medium to Large sized fish and then head off to meet up with Joe during the evening at Maple Lake. While the two of you are talking, Joe notices a silver streak running through the water. He now believes that the Silver Fish isn't a legend, that it is actually a fact. He now gets ready to try to catch this fish. Now is the time where you should befriend Kurt, so give him plenty of Tomatoes within the next week. On the next Tuesday or Thursday, head on over to the Carpenter's Shop and a cinema will pop up with Woody. He will tell you that the Silver Fish is a god sent. He has never seen it, but he wishes you good luck on catching it.

This cinema will end, but it will be followed by another with the Harvest Goddess and the Harvest Sprites. She tells you that she doesn't know much about the Silver Fish bu she will look into it and get back to you. After this happens, Kurt will walk by and give you some sort of weird look (he can't see the Goddes or Sprites). He will then state that you need some sleep because you are talking to yourself. Now go and catch some more fish and head back to the lake in the evening. Joe will be wondering about the Silver Fish when the Harvest Sprites will then stop by. They will explain to you that the Silver Fish only appears on nights with a Full Moon. This means that it will only appear on the 14th, 15th, 29th, and 30th. When the Harvest Sprites leave, Joe gives you a funny look just like Kurt did, and tells you to get some rest.

After this last cinema takes place, keep on giving Kurt Tomatoes and he will eventually stop by your farm in about 7 days. He tells you that he doesn't believe the legend of the Silver Fish but then again, he doesn't totally disbelieve it either. He is willing to cut a deal with you. Since Woody has Kurt collecting herbs, he asks if you would collect some for him. He says that if you do he will repay you kindly. Pickup at least 10 herbs and then go and speak with Kurt. Give him the herbs and he says that he will be back in a few days to repay you.

About 4 days later Kurt will stop by your farm again to speak with you. In his hands he holds a fishing rod. He explains that he imagined the Silver Fish to look like this so he designed a rod specifically to fit the purpose. He also believes that you have a better shot at catching the Silver Fish then Joe does. Now that you have the Silver Fish Rod, all you have to do is wait for a Full Moon night. When the next Full Moon night rolls around, head on down to the lake during the earlier part of the evening. The Silver Fish Ending is a more random event, so this could get a little frustrating. You have to cast out into the water and wait for you to catch it. There isn't much of a pattern, just look for a more larger object out in the lake to aim for. You have to move your line to where the fish is to catch it, unlike with regular fishing. You will know that you have caught the Silver Fish because when you display your fish it will be shimmering silver.

Joe will be found standing right next to you totally stunned and amazed at your catch. Then the Hero will release the fish back into the lake and Joe will ask you why you did that. Then he realized why you did this and agrees with your actions. The Hero had taken a Silver Scale off of the fish for his souvenir to prove his catch. The Hero hands it to Joe and Joe then sends it off to a Magazine Company.

One week later, Joe, Kurt and Katie will show up at your farm. Katie pulls out a brochure that talks about the Silver Fish that the Hero caught. Since the fish is rare, the developers cannot develop on this land. This now means that the lake will also have restricted fishing laws. Joe is happy that the homeland is saved but he is sad because he won't be able to fish as often any more. After the credits, the Hero visits Joe. Joe is fishing just one last time before the restrictions arise. Joe and your character make small talk for a little bit before Katie shows up. She will state that she still cannot figure out how this fishing thing works, and then she drags him off to go on a date, the scene fades out…

Goddess Dress

Involved: Dia, Gina, Harvest Goddess, Katie, Louis

To kick off this ending you must start off by giving gifts to Gina (Martha's Granddaughter) at Clove's Villa. Very Berries will do fine, you also could give her some Eggs too. After a few days of sweetening her up, she will stop by your farm to chat with you. Gina tells you about the Flower Festival in Flowerbed City since that's where the Hero is from. She has heard about the Goddess Robes that are worn there. She wants to make a new design to wow and amaze everyone who will be going to the festival. She asks for your help in doing this. Now that you've been informed of this, you must find someone who can design the dress. Go and talk to Katie. Become better friends with her by giving her Moondrop Flowers daily. In no time she will be your friend and she will stop by your farm one morning to show you some sketches for the Goddess Dress and Gina wants your opinion. Then the Hero goes off into great detail describing the Goddess Dress, making Katie wonder if you'd seen the Goddess yourself.

After telling her your ideas, head on up to Clove's Villa and you will see Gina and Katie under a tree discussing some ideas for making the Goddess Dress. In the middle of this discussion, Dia will come out calling for Gina and she scolds Gina and says that Gina must find her scarf. Katie waves goodbye to Gina and runs off, then Gina takes off looking for Dia's scarf. Now you must start becoming better friends with Dia. Giver her plenty of Very Berries and after a week or so you should have her buttered up nicely.

Head on over to the Goddess Lake and a cinema will occur. The Goddess then tells you in order to make the right Goddess Dress, you must have silk thread. In addition to this, the silk must be dyed with Very Berries and Woven under the Moonlight. The Hero seems a bit flustered with all of this, but the Goddess explains to you that all you need is to bring her the thread and she will take care of the rest. Now become good friends with Louis and head on over to the Tool Shop. Eventually he will announce that the silk thread is in but it will cost 3000 Gold.

Now that you have the silk thread, head on back to the Goddess. Another cinema will occur, this time the Goddess will take the thread off your hands. She then says that she will begin work on the cloth and get back to you. It will take about 2 weeks for her to finish this, and then the Goddess and Sprites will stop by your farm. She will announce that she has proudly completed the work on the Rainbow Cloth and she hands it to the Hero. Then the Harvest Sprites complain about how the Harvest Goddess made them do so much work. This is the time where you head up to Clove's Villa.

To give Gina the cloth, you must make sure that she is inside to do this. She is usually inside the Villa around 11:00 am except on Saturdays. When you catch her you will enter another Cinema and the Hero will hand Gina the Rainbow Cloth. Gina will comment on its beauty and then she will wonder how on earth you got your hands on this beautiful piece of artwork. After the Hero tries to explain it to her, Gina gives him a confused look and says that maybe it's better that she didn't know. Now Gina will leave and start to work on the dress. Continue to be friendly with the main characters in this ending. It will take about 3 to 4 weeks, but when it's done visit Clove's Villa and a cinema will occur. Gina and Katie will be sitting under the tree again, but this time Gina is busy sewing the dress. Martha will call out to Gina and Gina responds to Martha's call. Then Dia wanders out of the Villa and questions Gina why she has been hanging around Katie so much lately. Dia then chews out Gina for ignoring her job. Katie in turn starts to have her way on Dia. Dia then runs away to go cry. The Hero goes to comfort and chat with Dia, and then Dia returns and apologizes to everyone and offers a helping hand. Gina comments on how Dia would be a great model for the Goddess Dress.

The next morning Gina and Dia will stop by your farm and Dia will be sporting the new dress. Gina says that she is sending it off to Flowerbud City for the festival. It will take another week, but Gina, Dia and Katie will stop by your farm once again and Gina will exclaim that her dress has taken first prize at the festival. Katie pulls out a brochure stating that they want Gina to teach others how to sew. They will set up dye workshops and sewing classes at Sugar Valley. As this scene fades, the next scene appears with the Harvest Goddess and the Harvest Sprites. The Goddess says that the village will soon become noisy and busy around these parts but the homeland has been saved. The Harvest Sprites still complain to her about how much work they had to do.

After the credits scroll through, Gina comes up to your farm. She then thanks the Hero for all of his help. Then Gina states that it was the Hero who motivated her and gave her the strength to go through with all of this. Gina then gets real embarrassed and then runs off with the Hero chasing after her, after this the scene fades out…

Horse Race

Involved: Bob and Gwen

To start this ending you should become good friends with Bob and Gwen. Both of them love sweets, they also will like Eggs and Milk. Now you must get a Horse if you don't already have one. To get a Horse, please check the Horses page. Once you have your horse, you will want to groom and talk to your horse every day. Once your horse has at least one heart, you will be able to climb on your horse and ride at a slow pace around the village. When you are able to ride your horse, you will wake up to a cinema with Bob. The Hero will be shown brushing your horse and Bob will compliment you on being able to ride your horse. He also tells you that he has confidence in your ability to train the horse. Then Gwen shows up and shows her cocky attitude and states that anybody can ride a horse and that no one can beat her horse.

Continue to love your horse, and use your horse to ride it everywhere around town. Eventually you will have your horse at the five heart level. At this point another cinema will occur. Bob once again will show up and congratulate you on getting your horse in such nice condition. He then says that now it is time to train your horse for racing. He says that you should come down to Brownie Farm and do a Time Attack race to see how fast your horse is. Gwen will then show up and then she and Bob will argue as to who will represent the Homeland in the big race, the cinema ends. Now head on down to the Brownie Farm and go into the Store. When you are in there Bob will ask what you want to do. Instead of just Part-Time Work being in the menu, Time Attack has been added as one of the selections. You will then meet Bob down at the race track to do a Time Attack.

To do a Time Attack you must race your horse around the track three full times. Bob will say to you that you must beat Gwen's time of 52 seconds. When you get into the race, try to stay as close to the right fence without scraping alongside it. Make sure to cut your corners tight but dont run into the fence. You don't have to beat her time on your first chance, you can take multiple stabs until you beat 52 seconds.

Once you beat Gwen's time, you can keep on testing your time and the fastest time is what you will end up with (so you dont have to beat 52 seconds every time you race). In the next 2 weeks, Bob will stop by your farm and he says that you did really good at the Time Attack but now you must face some competition. Bob challenges you to a race against him and if you beat him you will be sent to the races. He also says that if you don't want to race him now, you can come by on Thursday to challenge him. This race works just like the Time Attack, but instead of racing against the time you are racing against Bob. Try to following the same directions as stated above, but don't let Bob get ahead of you or push you out of your path. After winning this Bob will state that your horse is definately ready for the horse race. Gwen will show up and state that the test isn't over yet. Now you must beat her to prove that your horse is the best. Race Gwen and then beat her just like you did with Bob and you will be off to the races.

After beating Gwen she will tell you that your horse is the best. Then Bob will pitch in and tell you to take good care of your horse because the race is in 2 weeks. One morning in the next few days Gwen will stop by and say that she is very disappointed in losing to you, but she is glad that your horse is in the race. She then gives you a Lucky Charm so that your horse wins. That is the end of that cinema. One week later after beating Bob and Gwen, Bob will stop by your farm to remind you that the race is in 1 week and to make sure that you are taking good care of your horse.

One week later Bob will stop by your farm again to pick up your horse. Unfortunately you don't get to race the horse, but Bob will take good care of it and do a good job at the races. The next day both Gwen and Bob will stop by your farm to tell you that your horse has won! Since your horse won the race, they said that the next year the horse race will be held at the homeland. Since this is the cause, the developers cannot develop in the homeland and once again the homeland is saved. At the end of the credits, the Hero, Bob and Gwen are all on the race track. They will all talk for a little bit and then the three of you race around the horse track. Then the scene fades out…

Treasure Hunt I

Involved: Tim, Bob, Hero's Dog

To kick off this ending, first become good friends with Tim and Bob. Make sure to give Tim plenty of Eggs (at least one a day) and give Bob plenty of Very Berries (at least one a day) to get this ending going. The other thing you must have is that your dog needs to have a heart rating of five hearts. You will need the flute to do this to help train him in to make him love you more. Also remember to feed your dog every day.

When your dog is at its five heart rating, bring your dog to Tim and show Tim your dog. Tim will be surprised and will get all excited. Within the next couple days Tim should stop by your farm and he will bring important news. He apparently has found a treasure map and he wants you to help him dig up the buried treasure. You will then be off to the Walnut Forest (across from the Sunny Garden Cafe/Bar) to dig up some buried treasure. Tim will follow the map, count off the spots and then find the location. This is where you jump in. The Hero will start digging in the spot that Tim tells you to dig. When you finally open the chest and then open it, you will find a bunch of old toys and pretty much, junk. Bob will then come into play and he will explain how when he was a kid he had buried this treasure and had forgotten about it. He then says that at the time these items were very important to him, but they aren't that important to him now. The scene comes to an end.

Continue giving Eggs and Very Berries to Tim and Bob and eventually Tim will stop by your farm again. This time he has found another treasure map, which he calls a real treasure map. He says that it has to do with the Sacred Land of Praria Forest (north of Clove's Villa). Tim doesn't know what to do or anything about Praria Forest, but he does give you a copy to hold on to. This is where you come in. No one around town really knows what the Sacred Land is so talking to the towns people doesn't really help. Go visit the Goddess and she will give you the one and only hint you need. She will tell you that only if your dog is smart will you find the Sacred Land (this is why your dog needs five hearts). Make sure that no matter what, you do not enter Clove's Villa because if you do you will activate the Treasure Hunt II Ending with Dia. You still haven't finished up the Treasure Hunt I Ending.

Keep on befriending more and more townspeople, especially Tim and Bob (do not talk to Dia at all costs). It might not hurt to ask the Goddess for the Dog selection at the Goddess Lake. If you activate another ending, don't worry about it because you will do that alot. Just stick to this one because this one takes quite a while. You can't really set a specific time or date of this next event, it will just happen on its own. One sunny day while you are making your rounds, go to Clove's Villa (just don't talk to Dia) and a cinema should come up. The Hero's dog (leave him at the farm) will run away from you and go towards the Villa. After Martha comes out to see what's going on, your dog will start running for the hill to the left of the Villa. The Hero will chase after your dog and then the two of you will automatically be transported to the Sacred Land of Prairia Forest. Tim will appear from hearing your dog's bark and compliment you on how well you've trained your dog.

The three of you (Tim, Your Dog, and the Hero) will venture off further into Praria Forest and eventually you will come across a large Stone Tablet with a field on the other side of it and a well next to it. Tim and the Hero will examine the tablet for a few seconds and then Tim will depart, due to the fact that he thinks the Sacred Land looks like some type of wasteland. Now read the inscription on the tablet and you will find that it says, “Plant crops as land tells you and gold will appear”. The tablet will then give you detailed information about which crops to plant (before getting this far, make sure you have at least 10 seeds of each kind of crop). If you look at the field next to the stone tablet, you will see different markings on the squares. They are four different symbols which represent which plants to plant:

  • Star: Root Plant (Potato)
  • Square: Yellow Plant (Corn)
  • Musical Note: Brown Plant (Breadfruit)
  • Heart: Red Plant (Tomato)

Now your job is to plant the correct seed on the correct square, and then water all of them until they bloom. In case you plant the wrong seed on the wrong square, you can use your Hoe to remove the plant. Then if you forgot which seed you were supposed to plant, come back the next day (or look at our chart below) to complete the puzzle. As you are facing the stone tablet and looking out at the field, you will see a five by five grid of squares to plant with the symbols on them (they will disappear when you plant the crops).

Then plant the crops according the image to the right and then water them every day until all of them are ready for harvest. After 8 days have passed, go to the Sacred Land and a cinema will occur. When you walk in there will be a treasure chest sitting next to the stone tablet. Then Tim will enter and congratulate you on finding the treasure. After opening the chest Tim will mention that he thinks it's seeds and he wants to grow them. So the Hero will hand the seeds to Tim and Tim leaves to go plant them.

Tim goes and askes Lyla if he can plant the seed in one of her flower beds, and she agrees to let him do so. Visit the Flower Shop every day and on the 3rd day a cinema should occur. Tim will visit your farm and tell you that the seed has sprouted, you two will venture off to the Flower Shop and then you question what kind of flower this might be. After a week passes, Tim will show up on your farm again and he will tell you that the flower is blooming. Both of you will venture off again to the Flower Shop and you will see the flower. Lyla will comment how the flower has a glow to it and Parsley will say that it has some type of golden light to it. Lyla will then remember her grandmother telling her of the golden fruit that this flower bears. Parsley will take off to further research this flower.

After 2 days have passed Tim will stop by your farm again and he will tell you that the flower is ready to be dug up. When you both arrive at the Flower Shop, Lyla and Parsley will already be there. After the fruit is dug up, Tim says that it looks like a Potato (because it is dark and not glowing). Then Woody and Gwen will stop by to see what's going on. Then Parsley comments that it is a Golden Sweet Potato and that it is incredibly hard and nutritious. This fruit has been rumored to give eternal life and was nicknamed the “Fruit of Happiness”. Woody then remembers how back in the day this was the only food in which they lived on upon his arrival into the homeland. Then Gwen suggests that they have a Sweet Potato Festival and everyone agrees on it being the next day.

The next day head on over to the Walnut Forest (Carpenter's House) area and a big cinema will come up. Woody is bossing around Bob, Joe, and Kurt and he tells them to get the tables ready. Then Martha and Gina will enter and they have a short conversation. Then the Hero will walk up the hill and talk with Bob, Gwen, Ronald and Wallace. Then Woody will tell his old tales of what it was like growing up here. Then Parsley makes his entrance and announces that he sent the potato to a lab and they found that they have a lot of interest in this plant. Apparently they can use this plant to feed starving people. Then Parsley states that no theme park will be built due to the islands great potential with this plant.

After the Festival you will find Tim, Your Dog, and the Hero walking around your farm. Tim will talk about him hearing that the homeland will remain as it was and will always stay that way. Tim also says that he is very happy because now he knows that he can always return to a place that he knows of. Then Tim talks about going off and enduring many different adventures, and he wants you to stay around to hear his tales. After Tim walks out, the Hero slowly glances up into the sky and the scene fades out.

Treasure Hunt II

Involved: Tim, Bob, Dia, Martha, Gina

This ending is just like Treasure Hunt I only you will use Dia to find the Sacred Land instead of your Dog. To kick off this ending, first become good friends with Tim and Bob. Make sure to give Tim plenty of Eggs (at least one a day) and give Bob plenty of Very Berries (at least one a day) to get this ending going.

After befriending Tim, bring your dog to Tim and show it to him.

This is where the two endings change up. Instead of going to visit the Goddess, this time head on up to Clove's Villa and find Dia. You must befriend Dia so start talking to her daily and give her Very Berries (at least one per day). It also wouldn't help to use the “Girl” selection with the Goddess to help increase your friendship faster. Once you have become somewhat good enough friends with Dia, head on over to Clove's Villa (from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm) every day until a cinema appears. Dia will tell you that she doesn't know anything about the Sacred Land but she will look into it for you.

Now you must keep visiting her daily and giving her Very Berries (Blue Berries) around 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Every once in a while she will ask you to lend an ear and she will give you bits and pieces of the story. Eventually the story turns out that she was left at the Clove's Villa under the care of Martha and Gina by her parents. She wants to be able to speak with them and she really wants to act grown up. She will end it with thanking you for listening to her. After she thanks you she will eventually stop by your farm (no set amount of time, all random). Keep on giving her berries until this happens. Eventually one morning she will stop by your farm to chat. She will state that she has learned how to get into the Sacred Land of Praria Forest. Then you will see both Dia and the Hero at Clove's Villa looking over at the hillside to the left of the villa. Dia says that the gateway is around here somewhere. After a short period of time she will find it and the two of you will be automatically transported to the Sacred Land.

Upon entering you will see a large stone tablet in front of you, with a field of five by five squares behind it with four different symbols on them (a well is nearby also). Dia will lead you to the stone table to read the inscription. It says, “Plant crops as land tells you and gold will appear”. Dia says that this seems kind of cryptic and she leaves you alone. Keep reading the stone tablet and it will give you the solution to the puzzle.

Below are the meanings of each of the four different shapes. Make sure before coming into the forest that you have at least 10 seeds of each kind of plant. Then plant the correct seeds according to the code below.

  • Star: Root Plant (Potato)
  • Square: Yellow Plant (Corn)
  • Musical Note: Brown Plant (Breadfruit)
  • Heart: Red Plant (Tomato)

After the fruit is dug up, Dia says that it isn't golden, it is black. After the Festival, Dia will show up at your farm and she will hand you a dish. The Hero reacts to it's very bad taste and Dia apologizes. She says she will practice cooking more often. Dia says she is happy at Clove's Villa and she is glad that you two are friends. Throughout the process she has become more nice and less selfish. She then states that she is in love with the Hero and kisses you on the cheek, then the scene fades out.
